Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu (transl. Alibaba and Half a Dozen Thieves ) is a 1993 Indian Telugu-language comedy film, produced by K. Chinni under the Melody Movies banner and directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana starring Rajendra Prasad, Ravali, Srikanya, with music composed by Vidyasagar. The film was released on 31 December 1993 and was a box office success, receiving recognition as one of the finest comedy films in Telugu cinema.[1][2]

The film revolves around an incompetent cop Alibaba & 6 petty thieves maintaining 2 different rival gangs Kotaiah & Co and Brahmam Brothers. The two compete and create turbulence in the city. Alibaba is specially appointed to seize them. Meanwhile, both gangs possess 2 sisters Pulandevi & Pooja Bedi who fall for Alibaba. So, the 6 thieves ploy, mislead Alibaba and knits him with both. At present, Alibaba struck & struggles between his 2 wives and 6 brothers-in-law. The rest of the story is a comic tale that how to get rid of these problems.

In their obituary of director E. V. V. Satyanarayana, The Times of India listed Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu as among "some of his super-hit comedy and entertaining films".[4]
