Good Morning, Miami1999
Good Morning, Miami is a sitcom which ran from 2002 to 2003 on NBC. Created by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, the show focused on the personal and professional life of Jake, the executive producer of a incredibly low-rated morning show in Miami.
Though it had ratings struggles and generally spent its two seasons on the air with little critical acclaim, the show lasted in the coveted Thursday "Must See TV" lineup for an entire season, and was one of the first series on NBC to be fully originated in high definition.
After nine episodes were aired during the second season in the United States, the show was canceled and didn't get to finish airing the rest of the 18 episodes that were ordered for the season. However, all episodes of the second season were shown on TG4 in Ireland and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom.
The theme song, entitled "Once in a Lifetime", is played by John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls.
