The Firing Line

The programme is dedicated to the brave and hardworking freelance journalists and camera people. These individuals risk their lives to report about the most dramatic breaking events from all around the world, but their work is often overlooked. Each year the best ones get nominated for the Rory Peck Award for bringing stories from some of the most hostile environments on the planet. In this special the nominees talk about their job and their experiences of covering news under various extremely dangerous circumstances.
