Das Schatzschiff von Muskat
Sie ist ein ganz besonderes Segelschiff: die "Jewel of Muscat". Einer arabischen Dhau aus dem 9. Jahrhundert detailgetreu nachempfunden, dauerte die Konstruktion des Schiffes ein ganzes Jahr lang. Über 18 Tonnen Holz und 100 Kilometer Seil wurden beim Bau der "Jewel of Muscat" verarbeitet. Nun soll das Segelschiff vom Hafen von Muskat im Sultanat Oman endlich in See stechen. In Singapur soll die "Jewel of Muscat" dem Präsidenten des südostasiatischen Stadtstaates als Gastgeschenk übergeben werden. Wird sie der Feuertaufe standhalten, oder könnte der Monsun die sichere Überfahrt gefährden?
