Number 96

Number 96 is an Australian prime time soap opera that aired on 0-10 Network (the forerunner of what is now Network Ten) from 13 March 1972 to 11 August 1977.

The premiere of the series was promoted heavily in media with newspaper articles as "the night Australian television lost its virginity"[1] and followed the residents of people living in a four-story city apartment block at the fictional 96 Lindsay Street, Paddington.
