3 Idiots (Hindi थ्री इडीयट्स) ist eine preisgekrönte indische Filmkomödie aus dem Jahr 2009. Die Geschichte basiert auf Five Point Someone von Chetan Bhagat. In Indien brach der Kassenschlager sämtliche Rekorde und schaffte es als zweiterfolgreichster Film des letzten Jahrzehnts (2000–2009) zum ersten Mal als solcher über die 2-Milliarden-Rupien-Marke bei den Einspielergebnissen.[1]
