SUMMARY:Hochalpen - Neue Wege am Berg (Bergblick)
LOCATION:Bergblick
DESCRIPTION:Mountain sports are in vogue. The high Alps are one of the most
impressive landscapes in Europe - and at the same time one of the most fra

n destination of South Tyrol\, it already has long been forbidden to build
new mountain huts and shelters\, but existing huts are being extensively re
novated instead. The most spectacular renovation has been underway since la
st fall at 3.200 meters at the Becherhaus in the Italian part of the Stubai
Alps. The highest South Tyrolean refuge is being made fit for the future w
ith a budget of 1.2 million euros.
