Osamu Tezuka
Osamu Tezuka (japanisch 手塚 治虫 , eigentlich: 手塚 治 , Tezuka Osamu; * 3. November 1928 in Toyonaka; † 9. Februar 1989) war ein japanischer Arzt, Regisseur und Manga-Zeichner. Er war so maßgeblich in die Entwicklung des Mangas und des Animes der Nachkriegszeit involviert, dass er teilweise als „Manga no Kami-sama“ (漫画の神様 , deutsch „Gott des Manga“) bezeichnet wurde.
Berühmte Figuren seines produktiven Schaffens sind beispielsweise Astro Boy, Black Jack, Prinzessin Saphir und Kimba.
